Update Conference Prague 2019
The second year of Update Conference Prague which took place on November 14th - 15th 2019, was the largest .NET developer conference in the Czech Republic. The conference continued the success of the previous year and allowed .NET developers from the Czech Republic and other countries to meet with foreign experts.
Our Mission
We put maximum effort to invite new faces from all over the world. They can bring new knowledge and different perspectives to the attendees. This year, we invited a total of 32 speakers from 12 countries. In addition to their sessions, they networked with the attendees and were available for questions.
There were three halls with more than 40 sessions in total.
All-day workshop
The program of the Update 2019 was extended with a full-day workshop on the day before the conference.
The workshop named „Myths and Facts of Domain-driven design“ was led by Dino Esposito, one of Europe's largest IT education expert with 25 years of experience.
Session Topics:
- .NET Framework, .NET Core
- Azure & Serverless
- Machine Learning, ML.NET
- IoT, Virtual Reality
- Web Development
- SQL Server
- Bots & AI
- DevOps & Testing
- Xamarin & Mobile Development

- Architecture
Side Attractions
The whole conference was accompanied by the program that our partners have prepared. Attendees could wind down in Chill-out Zone by ITIXO, have fun at Tech & Fun Zone by RIGANTI, stretch in Yoga time sessions or work in Quiet room.
The attendees could also network and win prizes at the showcases of conference partners: Vistaprint, PostSharp, Microsoft, Sony and 3D Expres. They could also chat with the developers of DotVVM, an open source framework developed by RIGANTI.
Session Video Recordings
Video recordings of all lectures will be provided to conference participants free of charge via the DotNetCast.cz portal within 2 months from the end of the conference. Please wait for an email with the credentials for these videos.
Recordings from selected sessions, however, will gradually by published on our Youtube channel.

One very nice thing about conferences is that you get to meet personally people that you admire / only know digitally, e.g. @KonradKokosa, the well-regarded author of Pro .NET Memory Management. #UpdateConferencePrague2019 pic.twitter.com/b2CGDZpPZI
